4WD DIRECT'S DOBINSON IMS & KINGS SUSPENSION LIFT KIT REVIEW:

Looking for a ‘sensible lift’ and based on our Pajero’s Set up of a PVC Smart Bar and Bash Plates fitted up front and constant rear touring weight of around 100 kg and towing a Camper Trailer with 220 kg tow ball weight, I was advised by 4WD DIRECT to install the following parts:
Front Dobinson IMS Fully Assembled Struts with Kings KCFR-34++ Coils in the front with Dobinson IMS Shocks all round along with KCRR-35 HD King Coils with new poly lower coil insulators in the back and re-use my existing HD Polyair Airbags (with bag spacers fitted to suit my previously fitted standard height Airbags).
Now the Pajero handles a lot better, has less body roll and is much more stable when towing, does not bottom out and is a far more comfortable touring vehicle to drive.
The suspension is much more compliant and handles poor road surfaces and corrugations much better.
The damping provided by the Dobinson IMS Shocks soaks up bumps and corrugations very well and the sensible, modest lift also improves clearance on tracks which allows us to go the extra mile.
